Titled The Chiffon Trenches, the book by the former Vogue editor and Anna Wintour confidant was originally slated to hit stores this month, but the release was pushed until September due to the coronavirus shutdown. After the Daily Mail published incendiary passages about Wintour attributed to Talley last week, though, popular demand prompted the publisher to move the drop up to May 19.

青青青国产在观免费2018What’s been said about the book so far indicates that Talley feels scorned by Wintour, who he claims dumped him for being “too old, too overweight, [and] too uncool.” He then supposedly goes on to say some not especially kind things about her lack of kindness.

In response, Wintour recently told the New York , via a spokesperson, that she “wishes André only the best.”

Of course, The Chiffon Trenches is poised to be about much more than Wintour. If you’ve seen the recent documentary on Talley’s career, , then you know that he’s worked in the industry for decades, beginning at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, where he interned for none other than Diana Vreeland.

青青青国产在观免费2018“I hope my new memoir will astonish all readers,” Talley wrote in a teasing Instagram caption on Wednesday. “I went into the deepest core of my being; my memory is intact. It is a deeply personal story of a life well lived within the world of fashion, in all of its most glamorous and cutthroat moments.”
